This website has been creatively put together by a teacher after a 30-year career teaching phonics. She then put all her ideas from her many years of experience and came up with a website that parents of homeschooled children and early learners can access to get a jumpstart on basic reading skills. With the use of online games and activities, homeschool products that are easy, fun, and exciting--kids stay interested and it probably feels more like entertainment than an actual educational session to them. Also offered is free online reading help for those who may need it. Animal characters were created to tell stories that teach practical lessons and to take them on different adventures. Afterwards, there are downloadable printed worksheets, games and puzzles to help reinforce each learning concept. Quick Start Reading makes available fun and interactive kits that can be purchased in order to work primarily offline or to complement particular lesson plans online. Parents should check out this site as a very resourceful tool to get their children who are under school age interested in learning the basics in an enjoyable way and also to help them build confidence as they persist in a home reading environment.
